In practice the payment picture is clear-cut: you deposit with Bancontact or Bancontact Pay, and you withdraw by bank transfer. The rename from Payconiq to Bancontact Pay dates from March 2026.
Reckon with €1500 per payment and €2500 per day at Bancontact Pay. The money is available at once; withdrawing takes as a rule one to three banking days, on top of the processing time on the operator's side.
Opening and verifying an account
Signing up looks roughly the same on every site: real name, date of birth and an identity check before the first withdrawal. Expect an ID document plus proof of address. A deposit in someone else's name reliably blocks your payout.
